How is July almost over?

It seems like this month just blasted by!
I've spent it doing leadership training, sewing, and doing plenty of Summer homework (Ew!) But I can't help but feel sad that the Summer days seem to just be slipping away.  It will be my Senior year at high school, and I've got to start planning for my future, which is frightening enough to think about, let alone do.  However, I do have a bit more time to enjoy the Summer, so I've been doing what I can!
This last week I spent a lot of my time working on sewing a cosplay dress.  This is one of three outfits that will be used in a CMV in the future.  While a lot of details for it need to be figured out still, I think It'll be a great video.  If you'd like to watch a video of me working on the dress, you can see it Here!
But thinking about it, if this month went by fast, the next will be even more so!  I'll be attending a music camp, and then working at a YMCA camp (Which I am super excited for!) Then swim season, school, and youth symphony will start up again, and I'll need to start applying to colleges.  Oh my gosh so much going on, so little time!
I hope you guys are having a great summer, and I'll hopefully hear from you soon!

Chinatown Seafair Parade 2014

Going on adventures with my friends is one of my favorite things, and today was a blast!
Three members of Hey Say Cosplay traveled up to Seattle today to help represent Sakura con in the Chinatown Seafair parade! We went as Matryoshka Vocaloids, and had a fantastic time.
JemmaKuma and I
I always love visiting Seattle!  It's such a diverse city, and this was actually my first time in it's Chinatown!  We passed by a few stores that I'd really like to visit in the future (possible walk around with me/haul videos!) and it was so cool to drive through parts of the city I don't get to see when I go up for Sakura Con itself. Seeing all the other cosplayers was amazing too.  It's so great to know we are part of such a fantastic group of people.  I met an adorable Miku there too, who also makes YouTube videos! Her channel is JemmaKuma! She's totally a lot more popular then me, but makes adorable videos that you might just want to check out! (She also does modeling and wow she is cute!  I'm totally becoming a fangirl of her but she's awesome!
I made a short video of the footage I took from the parade, which you can see here!

So as for the rest of this week, I'll be heading to the good ol' fabric store and start working on some new costume, which I will probably be vlogging about my progress.  Later this week, or early next, I should be getting my surprise BJD item I talked about in my last post, and will be making videos related to that.
See you then!

Return From The Outside World

Who is this mysterious person writing this blog post, who has been missing for two weeks?
I'm back!
While my vacation was great, and I had a fantastic time at camp, I'm ready to get back to video making, cosplay creating, and sleeping in! (All very important things hahaha).  Hopefully I'll be posting plenty in the next two weeks to keep you entertained (Then it's off to another camp for me haha)
As far as video plans go, I have a few ideas in the works.  There will be a BJD video in the next month I'm very excited for making, but the main part of it isn't home yet so I can't exactly film it yet (and no I didn't buy a new doll), but it'll be very exciting once it does get here.  We also have some more cosplay videos slowly in the works, one of which I really need to start sewing for, so I need to hop skip jump my way to the fabric store sometime soon.

Something that is also exciting in the cosplay spectrum is that part of Hey Say Cosplay will be a part of the annual Chinatown Seafair Parade, joining other cosplayers to represent Sakura-Con!  I will totally record footage there and put together a video of the fun!
Speaking of making videos, my fellow cosplayer, CosplayDiva58, has posted some super cute videos to her channel recently, including this one that I really like named Matsuri! She's hasn't used YouTube for long (Well, compared to an oldie like me) but I really want to share her videos and let other people enjoy them as much as I do!
In terms of things that are not videos, I have been super into a few different things this month, and seeing as I never get around to making monthly favorites videos, I figure that I might as well share them here!
Such a cutie!
First, Azone dolls. Man those things are cute!  If I can budget out getting one (along with buying cosplay supplies, school supplies, ect ect) I totally would love to own one.  They are simply adorable! I love the Witch dolls, especially the "Little Witch of the Water". The only real problem with them is their availability, but I'm sure I could find a way to get her. (Again, only if I budget it out though, seeing as I'm trying to save for a car now also!)
Second, the anime Sabagebu!  OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS.  I love this show so much so far, and only two episodes are out!  It's a combination of cute girls, guns, and slice of life.  It's basically everything you ever could have wanted in a show.  It doesn't take itself to seriously, and the characters are all really fun! I showed it to some of my other, anime enjoying, friends and they both liked it too!  It's even something I've been considering cosplaying! (It also includes a main character who may just be the best MC for the season, for real though she is great)
Best MC? Best MC
So thats all I have to share for now, I'll be posting more this week, and the footage from the parade should be up sometime next week. I'll try to prerecord some videos for the next camp I got to, but my life is always a bit of a mess so no promises.

Now I've got to get back to work cleaning!
See you around!
